Long, Short, Big or Talll there is a skirt just for all! The skirt being the most versatile piece in your closet because you can so easily dress it down. It comes with a built in “I Rock” factor!
Take the long skirt, not fitted for example, throw on a sweatshirt and a cure pair of sneakers and it looks like you thought about what you wanted to wear and this is a very casual look, again, thought about look!
But really why a skirt….
In the biz world it is a very powerful, in a femme way, statement! When paired with a suit jacket it gives a BIG EXEC FEEL! This is why I love fashion; you can change who you are without changing your identity! It is all about perceptions!
What I really love about the skirt is that it is so easy so easy to transition to a night out after work. So… throw on a sexy cami and drape the jacket over the shoulders, add a super choker, and most importantly ditch those sexy pumps for a sexy strappy high- heeled sandal! Let me just interject that when I say high-heel sandal I mean one that you can tolerate, because you will primarily be seated I would choose a higher heel!
Oh, let me just add that the scenario goes like this, now you are out to dinner with the biz crew from today and there are a few prospects! Leave your jacket close by, ask to borrow his suit jacket.. guys love to help women in any way that they can…
I do believe the skirt is the way to go for work, especially if it is that job where there is a corporate ladder to climb. I’m just going to put this out there because there is more than one way to climb that corporate ladder, use your assets!
In climbing the corporate ladder one must remember that there are certain rules that apply and are designed for your protection…and maybe a night or two to remember in your world of work…

In all seriousness, skirts come in all lengths and various and numerous fabrics. I love the whole ballerina style. I happen to love tutus AND for all of you that have seen me on the real housewives of New Jersey, you already know this! Tulle is an amazing multipurpose fabric that can in every way be used to fit your lifestyle. I love clothing that can accommodate lifestyles and the SKIRT does all of that and more! Men love legs and women have what men want, I like to wear a skirt for me, because I like to have fun making it a crazy “Betsey Johnson” moment! Remember sweaters, tight shirts, button downs, t-shirts and all shoes can make that skirt ROCK!
